Dumle chocolate-covered toffee

Dumle is a beloved confectionery brand known for its chocolate-covered toffees. The journey of Dumle began in 1945 when Mazetti, a Swedish chocolate and confectionery producer based in Malmö, introduced the original product—a hard toffee lollipop coated in chocolate. In 1960, the brand name 'Dumle' was adopted, possibly inspired by the Swedish children's television series 'Humle och Dumle.'

In 1975, the Finnish multinational company Fazer acquired Mazetti, bringing Dumle under its umbrella. This acquisition marked a significant turning point for the brand. In 1987, Fazer launched a new version featuring a softer toffee center, wrapped in candy packaging, now known as Dumle Original. These soft toffees are primarily manufactured in Vaarala, Vantaa, Finland.

Over the years, the Dumle brand has expanded its product range to include various flavors and forms, such as chocolates and ice creams. Notable variations include apple, salty liquorice, mint, gingerbread, mango-orange, cranberries, banana, and lime, each often distinguished by unique wrapper colors.

Today, Dumle continues to delight consumers with its rich history and diverse offerings, maintaining its status as a cherished treat in the confectionery world.
