Nestlé Pure Life still spring water

Nestlé Pure Life is a globally recognized brand of bottled water originally launched by Nestlé in 1998 in Pakistan to provide safe and accessible drinking water. It has since expanded to dozens of countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. The water is typically sourced from local springs or municipal supplies and undergoes a multi-step purification process, including filtration and mineralization, to ensure consistent taste and quality.

In 2021, Nestlé underwent a significant strategic shift in its water business, selling its mass-market North American water division, including the Pure Life brand in that region, to private equity firms One Rock Capital Partners and Metropoulos & Co. This entity was renamed BlueTriton Brands. Following this, in late 2024 and through 2025, BlueTriton Brands merged with Primo Water to form Primo Brands. While Nestlé still owns and operates the Pure Life brand in many international markets outside of North America, the rights and operations in the U.S. and Canada are now under the ultimate ownership of Primo Brands as of 2026.
