Star Il mio Dado Vegetale is an iconic vegetable bouillon cube from the renowned Italian brand Star. Founded in 1948 by Regolo Fossati in Muggiò, Italy, the brand's name 'Star' was inspired by the translation of the name of the founder's wife, Stella Pogliani. The vegetable stock cube quickly became a staple in Italian households, known for its ability to enhance the flavor of soups, risottos, and traditional Mediterranean dishes without the use of preservatives, gluten, or lactose.

Over the decades, Star expanded from its legendary bouillon cubes to sauces and tomato products like Gran Ragù and Pummarò. In 2007, Star merged with the Spanish group Gallina Blanca to form Gallina Blanca Star. Today, the brand is owned by the multinational food group GBfoods, which is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. Despite its international ownership, the production of Star bouillon cubes remains deeply rooted in its country of origin, with manufacturing taking place in Italy to maintain the authentic taste that has defined the brand for over 75 years.
