Acqua Dolomia mineral water

Acqua Dolomia is a premium mineral water sourced from the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, a protected UNESCO World Heritage site in Italy. The water originates from the deepest layers of perennial snow on the Cima dei Preti mountain group, filtering slowly through dolomite rock—the geological formation that gives both the mountains and the water their name.

The brand was established in 2001 by the company Sorgente Valcimoliana S.r.l., which operates its highly automated bottling plant in Cimolais, within the province of Pordenone. This direct-at-the-source bottling process ensures that the water retains its natural purity and unique mineral balance, characterized by high dissolved oxygen and a naturally alkaline pH.

In April 2022, the ownership structure of the company evolved when the Luigi Rossi Luciani Sapa (LRL) family office acquired a majority stake in Sorgente Valcimoliana S.r.l. This acquisition was aimed at accelerating the brand's growth in both the domestic Italian Ho.Re.Ca. (Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe) sector and international markets. The brand remains under Italian ownership and is managed as a key player in the premium mineral water segment.
