Vemondo Plantaardige Falafel

Vemondo Plantaardige Falafel is a vegan falafel product sold primarily at Lidl supermarkets across Europe, including the Netherlands. Vemondo is the private label brand developed by Lidl to provide affordable plant-based and vegetarian food options, covering everything from meat and dairy substitutes to ready-to-eat meals.

Lidl is part of the Schwarz Gruppe, a privately owned multinational retail giant headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany. Schwarz Gruppe is one of the largest retail groups globally, operating both Lidl discount supermarkets and Kaufland hypermarkets.

While the brand is conceived and owned by the German retail group, many of the chilled plant-based ready-to-eat convenience products sold under the Vemondo label in the Netherlands are produced by specialized local food manufacturers within the Netherlands or neighboring European countries.
