Kraft Salatmayonaise

Kraft Salatmayonaise is a well-known creamy mayonnaise-based dressing widely sold in Danish supermarkets and across Europe. It has long been a kitchen staple in Denmark, commonly used in open-faced sandwiches (smørrebrød), cold potato salads, and seafood dishes.

The Kraft brand traces its heritage back to Chicago, United States, where it was founded in the early 20th century by James L. Kraft. Over the decades, Kraft expanded globally and built an extensive portfolio of sauces, dressings, and condiments tailored to European tastes.

Today, the brand belongs to The Kraft Heinz Company, an American multinational food enterprise headquartered co-jointly in Chicago, Illinois, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While Mondelēz International holds certain former Kraft confectionery and grocery assets following the 2012 corporate split, all Kraft-branded sauces, dressings, and condiments sold in the Danish market remain under the ownership of The Kraft Heinz Company.
