Remarkable.ai Paper Tablet

reMarkable is a Norwegian tech brand best known for its paper-like digital writing tablets designed to replicate the tactile feel of real paper without digital distractions. Founded in Oslo, Norway, in 2013 by Magnus Haug Wanberg, reMarkable launched its flagship digital paper device through a crowdfunding campaign before expanding into mainstream global consumer electronics.

While hardware engineering, software development, and product design take place at the company's headquarters in Oslo, Norway, the devices (including the reMarkable 2 and reMarkable Paper Pro) are manufactured primarily in China by specialized contract electronics manufacturers.

The brand is owned and operated by reMarkable AS, a privately held Norwegian technology company backed by international venture capital investors. It sells directly to consumers in the United States and globally via its primary online platform and select authorized retailers.
