The Pi Hut Electronics & Maker Accessories

The Pi Hut is a prominent retailer and brand specializing in maker electronics, single-board computers, kits, and DIY hardware accessories, notably recognized as one of the premier global distributors for the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.

Founded in 2012 by Jamie Monk in the United Kingdom, The Pi Hut originated as a small web store selling pre-formatted SD cards and accessories for the original Raspberry Pi. Over time, it expanded into developing its own branded line of microelectronics add-on boards (HATs), breakout modules, cases, and sensor kits, alongside distributing third-party maker components.

Products bearing The Pi Hut branding as well as inventory sourced through their platform are manufactured across multiple countries, notably including the United Kingdom, China, and Taiwan. The business operates under its parent company, Pi Hut Group Ltd (formerly TradeWorks Ltd), remaining privately held and based in the United Kingdom.
