Cuétara Leoas Biscuits

Leoas (often marketed as Tosta Rica Leoas / Leonas) are wild animal-shaped chocolate biscuits created under the Cuétara brand, designed primarily as a breakfast and snack biscuit for children.

Cuétara was established in 1935 by brothers Juan and Florencio Gómez Cuétara in Mexico and subsequently expanded back to Spain in Reinosa and Madrid, growing into one of the Iberian Peninsula's most recognisable biscuit makers. Today, the Cuétara brand and its product lines, including Leoas, are owned by the Spanish food group Adam Foods, which was formed following the split of the historic Nutrexpa group in 2015.

Manufactured primarily in Spain, Cuétara Leoas biscuits are widely sold across Spain and Portugal, and are distributed in the United Kingdom via Iberian specialty grocers, international supermarket aisles, and online retail platforms.
