Alpro Mango Soy Yogurt Alternative

Alpro is a pioneering brand in plant-based dairy alternatives, founded in Belgium in 1980 as a division of the Vandemoortele Food Group. Over the decades, it expanded across Europe offering soy, almond, oat, and coconut-based beverages, yogurts, and desserts.

In 2009, Vandemoortele sold Alpro to the American dairy company Dean Foods. Following corporate spin-offs, Alpro became part of The WhiteWave Foods Company, which was subsequently acquired by the French multinational food corporation Danone in 2017 for approximately $12.5 billion.

Today, Alpro products sold across Europe and Austria are part of Danone's plant-based portfolio. The primary manufacturing plant remains situated in Wevelgem, Belgium, with additional production facilities across Europe supporting the international supply chain.
