KitchenCraft is one of the United Kingdom's most well-known and historic kitchenware brands. Founded in 1850 in Birmingham, England, by Thomas Plant, the business originally started as a wholesaler of ironmongery and domestic household hardware under the name Thomas Plant. Over decades of operation, the company transitioned into a major designer, distributor, and marketer of modern culinary tools, baking accessories, and cookware, officially rebranding as KitchenCraft in 1996 to better represent its core focus on kitchen essentials.

In 2014, KitchenCraft was acquired by Lifetime Brands, Inc., a prominent American global designer and seller of branded kitchenware, tableware, and other home goods. Lifetime Brands operates its European, Middle Eastern, and African operations through Lifetime Brands Europe, which continues to be based out of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

While KitchenCraft designs and develops many of its products in the United Kingdom, manufacturing is distributed globally, with products primarily produced across China, other Asian manufacturing hubs, and various European countries. Consumers should note that while "Kitchen Craft" is also a trade name for an unrelated custom cabinetry manufacturer based in North America (part of MasterBrand Cabinets), the UK kitchenware brand is solely associated with Thomas Plant (Birmingham) Ltd and Lifetime Brands.
