Prince Rød 100s cigarettes

Prince is an iconic Danish cigarette brand introduced in 1957 by Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker in Denmark, later manufactured under the Scandinavian Tobacco Company (Skandinavisk Tobakskompagni / ST). For decades, Prince was widely produced at the cigarette factory in Søborg, Denmark.

In 2008, British American Tobacco (BAT) acquired the cigarette division of Scandinavian Tobacco Company, which included the Prince brand. Following the closure of the factory in Denmark, production was moved to BAT's facilities in Europe, primarily in Poland and Germany. Today, Prince remains one of the best-known cigarette brands in Scandinavia, fully owned by British American Tobacco, headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
