LU Bastogne Cinnamon

LU Bastogne Cinnamon is a popular spiced biscuit renowned for its crunchy texture, rich caramel notes, and cinnamon seasoning, often served as an accompaniment to coffee and tea.

The LU brand traces its origin back to 1846 in Nantes, France, founded by Jean-Romain Lefèvre and Pauline-Isabelle Utile (forming the initials 'LU'). The Bastogne biscuit itself was created in Belgium around the mid-20th century by the Belgian biscuit company Parein (which later merged into General Biscuit and subsequently joined LU).

In 2007, the biscuit operations of Danone (which held LU) were acquired by Kraft Foods, which later spun off its global snack division into Mondelēz International. Today, LU is an internationally distributed brand under the American confectionery and snack conglomerate Mondelēz International, with production facilities primarily situated across Belgium and France.
