Meru Outdoor Apparel

Meru (styled as me°ru') was created as a joint private label brand by the Euro-Family outdoor retail alliance, which included leading European outdoor specialists such as Globetrotter Ausrüstung (Germany), Bever (Netherlands), and Sportler (Italy/South Tyrol). The brand offers functional outdoor equipment and clothing designed for hiking, camping, and trekking at an accessible price point.

Over the years, the ownership and retail partnerships evolved. Many of the original retail partners merged under the international outdoor retail group Frilufts Retail Europe AB, which is owned by Fenix Outdoor International AG (headquartered in Zug, Switzerland). In Italy, the brand is widely distributed through retail stores like Sportler.

Meru apparel and equipment are manufactured across various global production sites, primarily in Asian manufacturing hubs specializing in technical synthetic fabrics and outdoor gear.
