Klarstein Velaire Microwave

Klarstein is a contemporary German home and kitchen appliance brand created in Berlin. Founded in 2008 by Peter Chaljawski, Klarstein operates as one of the prominent direct-to-consumer private-label brands under Berlin Brands Group (BBG, legally Chal-Tec GmbH).

The Klarstein Velaire microwave oven is engineered, developed, and styled in Germany, while mass production and manufacturing are outsourced to specialized consumer appliance factories in China. From there, products are distributed across the UK and European e-commerce markets.

Klarstein remains under the ultimate corporate ownership of Berlin Brands Group (BBG), headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Investment and private equity firms (including Bain Capital) have held major stakes in BBG to support its global scale and multi-brand portfolio expansion.
