Ryobi ONE+ Cordless Power Tool

Ryobi is a well-known brand of power tools and outdoor power equipment widely available across Sweden and Europe. The brand originally originated in Japan, established by Ryobi Ltd. (founded in 1943 as Ryobi Seisakusho Co., Ltd.), which began manufacturing die-cast products and later introduced power tools in the 1960s.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd. (TTI) acquired the power tool and outdoor equipment business of Ryobi outside of Japan, securing the exclusive worldwide rights to manufacture, market, and distribute Ryobi-branded power tools and lawn and garden equipment. While Ryobi Ltd. still exists in Japan as an independent company focusing on die-casting, builders' hardware, and printing equipment (having sold its domestic power tool division to Kyocera in 2018), all Ryobi power tools sold in Sweden and globally are owned, designed, and manufactured under TTI.

Most Ryobi power tools and batteries are manufactured at TTI's advanced production facilities in China and Vietnam, with local distribution handled through regional subsidiaries such as Techtronic Industries Nordic.
