Teka is a prominent multinational brand specializing in kitchen appliances, sinks, and home heating systems such as electric water heaters. Originally founded in Germany in 1924 by Karl Thielmann, Teka expanded significantly throughout Europe, establishing a massive footprint in Spain where much of its operations, design, and manufacturing became centered under the Teka Group (Heritage B holding).

Teka's water heating equipment, including the EWH series, is engineered to European energy standards and produced across specialized manufacturing facilities located primarily in Europe and Asia (including Spain and China) depending on the product line. In 2024, Chinese multinational home appliance giant Midea Group agreed to acquire Teka Group, solidifying its global reach and integrating it into Midea's vast home appliance portfolio.
