Nuestro Queso Cotija Cheese

Nuestro Queso (meaning "Our Cheese") is a premium brand of Hispanic dairy products founded in 2009. Although it celebrates traditional Mexican and Central American flavors like Cotija, the brand was established in the United States and operates its own state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kent, Illinois. The brand prides itself on using authentic recipes and non-GMO, hormone-free milk to produce award-winning cheeses for the North American market.

In 2024, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the private equity firm Great Range Capital, based in Kansas. This acquisition was aimed at supporting the brand's rapid growth and expansion within the artisanal and ethnic food sectors. Today, Nuestro Queso continues to be managed as a leading producer of authentic Hispanic cheeses, maintaining its headquarters and production base in the United States while serving a diverse consumer base looking for high-quality, traditional dairy products.
