Sygic is a world-renowned provider of GPS navigation software, celebrated for being the first navigation app for iPhone and the second for Android. Founded in 2004, the brand is headquartered in Bratislava, Slovakia, where the majority of its software development and engineering takes place.

In 2018, Sygic was acquired by the Slovak technology conglomerate Eurowag (W.A.G. Payment Solutions), which specializes in integrated mobility solutions for commercial road transport. This acquisition allowed Sygic to integrate its advanced mapping technology into professional fleet management systems while continuing to serve millions of individual consumers globally with offline maps and real-time traffic data.
