Sympatex ECOLOG recycling system

ECOLOG was established as the first functional textile recycling system of its kind, launched by the German company Sympatex Technologies. Designed as a 'closed loop' concept, the ECOLOG label on garments indicates that the item is made from 100% recyclable polyester materials, including the membranes, laminates, and zippers, ensuring that the entire product can be returned to the recycling cycle without quality loss.

The system works by allowing consumers to return used ECOLOG-certified products to sales partners or directly to Sympatex, where they are processed back into high-quality raw materials for new clothing. This initiative represents a significant step toward sustainable fashion and the circular economy in the textile industry, emphasizing the avoidance of waste and the preservation of resources.
