Saimaza natural ground coffee

Saimaza is a historic coffee brand with deep roots in Spain, specifically founded in Seville in 1908 by Romualdo Valiente. It began as a small business focused on roasting and distributing coffee and grew to become one of the most recognizable names in the Spanish coffee market.

Over the decades, the ownership of Saimaza has shifted through various corporate mergers and acquisitions. It was previously part of the Kraft Foods and Mondelez International portfolios. Since 2015, the brand has been under the ownership of JDE Peet's (Jacobs Douwe Egberts), a global leader in the coffee and tea industry headquartered in the Netherlands.

While the brand maintains its Spanish heritage and significant production is handled within Spain to serve the local market, as part of a global conglomerate, sourcing and some production processes may occur across multiple international facilities to meet European standards.
