Urtekram is a prominent Scandinavian brand focused on organic and plant-based food and body care products. Originally founded in 1972 out of a small merchant shop in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Lisbeth Damsgaard and Ronnie McGrail, it has since grown into a leading green brand. The product shown, organic corn chips, is distributed across various European markets including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and Poland.

The brand passed into the hands of the Swedish consumer goods giant Midsona AB in 2015. While the brand has its roots in Danish soil and maintains a strong presence there, production is often handled through a global supply chain ensuring certified organic standards are met across multiple locations. Midsona AB continues to manage the brand as a flagship for organic lifestyle products in the Nordic region and beyond into 2026.
