Estreva Gel

Estreva is a topical hormone replacement therapy (HRT) medication, indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with menopause. The active ingredient is hemi-hydrated estradiol, which is absorbed through the skin when applied as a gel.

The brand was originally developed by Laboratoires Théramex, based in Monaco. After several corporate acquisitions over the decades, including a period under the ownership of Teva Pharmaceuticals, the brand is currently owned by Theramex, a global specialty pharmaceutical company focused on women's health. The company maintains a strong manufacturing and research presence in Monaco, although its corporate headquarters is located in the United Kingdom following its acquisition by private equity firms PAI Partners and Carlyle.
