Elivia is one of France's leading meat processors, specializing in the production and distribution of beef, pork, veal, and lamb. Originally founded in France, the brand has grown into a major player within the European meat industry, known for its extensive range of high-quality cuts and prepared meat products sold through superstore retailers, traditional butchers, and restaurants.

Historically, Elivia was a joint venture between the Irish meat giant Dawn Meats and the French farmer cooperative Terrena. In 2023, Terrena regained full control of the company by acquiring the minority stake previously held by Dawn Meats. This transaction solidified Elivia's status as a 100% farmer-owned entity under the Terrena umbrella. Headquartered in Le Lion-d'Angers, Elivia operates approximately 14 processing facilities across France's major agricultural regions, emphasizing local supply chains and sustainable farming practices.
