Erba Böna Arnica e Rosmarino Unguento

Erba Böna is a specialized brand originating from the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (VCO) province in northern Italy, specifically rooted in the Valle Cannobina region. The brand was established in 2001 through a cross-border initiative (INTERREG) between Italy and Switzerland to promote the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants in the Alpine valleys.

In 2007, the project evolved into the Consorzio Erba Böna, a consortium of small producers and growers focused on organic mountain farming. The products, including this Arnica and Rosemary ointment, are manufactured locally in Italy using herbs grown on small plots across the Lepontine Alps. The brand remains under the collective ownership of its consortium members, maintaining a strong commitment to traditional agricultural practices and regional identity.
