As the brand's flagship blend, it is crafted from 100% Arabica beans sourced from South and Central America as well as East Africa, designed to deliver a balanced flavor profile with nutty sweetness and a hint of tartness.

The brand's history dates back to 1906 when the Löfberg brothers—Anders, John, and Josef—founded the company in Karlstad, Sweden. Originally known as Löfbergs Lila, the brand simplified its name to Löfbergs in 2012 while retaining its signature purple color. Today, the majority of its coffee is roasted and packed in its state-of-the-art facilities in Karlstad, including a modern whole-bean roastery opened in 2021.

Löfbergs remains a family-owned enterprise, currently managed by the third and fourth generations of the Löfberg family. Under the umbrella of the Löfbergs Coffee Group, the company has expanded its footprint across Northern Europe and the UK, and it stands as one of the world's largest purchasers of organic and Fairtrade-certified coffee, reflecting a deep-seated commitment to sustainability.
