TELUS Wi-Fi Hub Router

The device shown is a TELUS Wi-Fi Hub router (often OEM manufactured by networking hardware specialists like Arcadyan or Technicolor for telecommunications providers). TELUS is one of Canada's major national telecommunications companies providing wireless, internet, television, and landline services.

TELUS traces its history back to the Alberta Government Telephones (AGT), established in Alberta, Canada. In 1990, AGT was privatized as Telus Corporation, and later merged with BC Telecom in 1999 to establish a dominant presence across Western Canada before expanding nationwide. Today, Telus Communications Inc. remains headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Like most telecommunications consumer premises equipment (CPE), TELUS Wi-Fi hubs and modems are engineered in partnership with multinational contract electronics manufacturers, with final hardware assembly and manufacturing primarily situated in China and other Asian manufacturing hubs.
