MAOAM Joystixx are popular chewy fruit sweets featuring a variety of flavors packaged in distinct stick-shaped pieces. The brand MAOAM was originally created in Germany in 1930 by Edmund Münster, who acquired the license to produce the fruit chew candy recipe.

In 1986, the German confectionery giant Haribo acquired the Edmund Münster company, bringing MAOAM into its international candy portfolio. Today, MAOAM remains an integral part of Haribo's product lineup and is enjoyed across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Haribo is headquartered in Grafschaft, Germany, and operates multiple manufacturing facilities across Europe. In the United Kingdom, MAOAM products are distributed and managed by Dunhills (Pontefract) PLC, trading as Haribo UK.
