Meze Audio Headphones

Meze Audio is a boutique high-end audio manufacturer renowned globally for its premium audiophile headphones and in-ear monitors. Founded in Baia Mare, Romania, by industrial designer Antonio Meze, the brand gained international acclaim with the release of the 99 Classics, followed by flagship planar magnetic models developed in technical collaboration with acoustic engineering specialists.

While designed, engineered, and assembled at its headquarters and workshops in Romania, some specialized drivers and components are sourced through global audio partners, including Rinaro Isodynamics in Ukraine. The company remains an independently owned Romanian business, operating without control from larger consumer electronics conglomerates.

Consumers in specialty and culinary markets may also come across 'meze' or 'mezze' as a generic term describing traditional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern small savory appetizer dishes or dips (such as those made by food companies like Meze Foods), but in the consumer electronics sector, Meze stands exclusively for Meze Audio.
