OLW (originally Old London Wasa) was established in Sweden in 1967 as a partnership between AB Wasabröd and Borden Foods. The brand operates out of Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden, where its production facility produces snacks for both Swedish and regional Nordic markets, including Denmark.

Today, the brand is owned by the Norwegian industrial conglomerate Orkla ASA, which acquired full control of OLW in the mid-2000s. The snacks are managed under Orkla's confectionery and snacks division, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sverige AB.
