Kenwood Audio Equipment

Kenwood is an internationally renowned brand recognized for its car audio, home audio equipment, and two-way radio systems. Founded in Japan in 1946 under the original name Kasuga Radio Co., Ltd., the company later rebranded as Kenwood Corporation. It quickly built a global reputation for cutting-edge electronics, receivers, and high-fidelity sound systems.

In 2008, Kenwood merged with Victor Company of Japan (JVC), leading to the formation of JVCKenwood Corporation. Today, JVCKenwood Corporation, headquartered in Yokohama, Japan, remains the ultimate owner of Kenwood audio and communications equipment. Kenwood audio hardware is manufactured globally across facilities in Asia, including Japan, Malaysia, and China.

It is important to note that Kenwood audio and communication systems are entirely separate from the British kitchen appliance company Kenwood Limited (known for the Kenwood Chef kitchen machine), which is owned by Italy's De'Longhi Group.
