Ekster Wallet

Ekster is a well-known lifestyle and everyday carry (EDC) brand recognized for its modern smart wallets featuring quick card-access mechanisms, RFID-blocking protection, and optional tracking technology compatible with Apple's Find My and Chipolo networks.

The brand was conceived in 2015 by Dutch entrepreneurs Olivier Momma and Rick Scharnigg in Rotterdam, Netherlands, alongside American co-founder Richard van Dijk. Beginning with a highly successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, the founders sought to solve common pain points with traditional wallets by designing ultra-slim, secure cardholders built from premium leather and aerospace-grade aluminium.

Today, Ekster operates internationally via direct-to-consumer digital channels and select international retail partnerships, including availability in the United Kingdom. Ekster's corporate headquarters remain in Amsterdam, Netherlands, functioning under Ekster Inc. / Ekster B.V. as an independent, privately held consumer goods company. While research, design, and product engineering are handled in the Netherlands and the United States, assembly and manufacturing of the hardware and wallets are primarily carried out in specialized manufacturing facilities in China.
