Sparmax is a globally recognized manufacturer of precision airbrushes, oil-less miniature air compressors, and related accessories widely used in model making, fine art, automotive detailing, cake decorating, and beauty applications in the United Kingdom and internationally.

The brand was founded in Taiwan in 1978 by Ding Hwa Co., Ltd., a pioneering engineering firm dedicated to small-scale pneumatic systems and oil-less diaphragm compressor technology. Sparmax grew into one of the world's most prominent original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and direct-to-market brands in hobbyist and professional airbrush equipment.

In 2018, the airbrush and compressor division and operations of Ding Hwa were acquired by the multinational industrial manufacturing group Anest Iwata Corporation, headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. Today, Sparmax continues to design and manufacture its equipment primarily in its specialized production facilities in Taiwan under the stewardship of Anest Iwata.
