The modern reimagining, the Honda Monkey 125, is primarily manufactured at Honda's production facilities in Thailand (Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) for global markets including the United Kingdom and Europe.

The Honda brand remains under the ultimate ownership of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., a multinational automotive and power equipment manufacturer headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In the United Kingdom, operations and distribution are handled by its regional subsidiary, Honda Motor Europe Ltd.
