Patatas Torres was founded in 1969 when Manuel Torres and Ángeles Medel opened a small potato chip stand in Premià de Mar, Barcelona. Over decades, the family expanded production, eventually establishing a modern manufacturing facility in Dosrius, Barcelona, while retaining its headquarters and distribution network in Catalonia (Vilanova i la Geltrú).

Known globally for premium gourmet potato chips with innovative seasonings (such as Black Truffle, Iberian Ham, and Caviar), Patatas Torres continues to manufacture its products in Spain using locally sourced high-quality potatoes and traditional frying methods.

Patatas Fritas Torres S.L. remains an independent, family-owned Spanish snack manufacturer without a multinational parent conglomerate.
