Pams was created in 1937 by Wholesale Distributors Ltd (WDL) in New Zealand, originally introduced to provide high-quality everyday grocery items at accessible prices. Today, the brand is owned by Foodstuffs, New Zealand's largest grocery retailer cooperative consisting of Foodstuffs North Island and Foodstuffs South Island. The brand is exclusively retailed through Foodstuffs banners, including PAK'nSAVE, New World, and Four Square.
