Joma is a prominent Spanish sportswear manufacturer founded in 1965 by Fructuoso López in Portillo de Toledo, Spain. The company started out producing general footwear before specializing in football boots and athletic training shoes. Over decades, Joma expanded into teamwear, athletics, tennis, and paddle tennis apparel and footwear.

The brand remains privately owned by its founding company, Joma Sport S.A., still headquartered in Portillo de Toledo, Spain, with global distribution networks including in the United Kingdom.

While design, research, development, and administrative headquarters are based in Spain, manufacturing of footwear is primarily outsourced to specialized production partners across Asia, predominantly in China and Vietnam.
