Tramontina was founded in 1911 by Valentin Tramontina in Carlos Barbosa, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, starting as a small iron forge. Over the decades, it grew into one of Brazil's largest and most prominent multinational manufacturers of cookware, cutlery, and household goods.
