Over the decades, Chieftec became a staple supplier of PC cases, power supplies (PSUs), and storage enclosures, particularly well-regarded in the European market through its distribution headquarters based in Ratingen, Germany.

While design, engineering, and logistics are directed through its parent company, Arena Electronic GmbH / Chieftec Industrial Co., Ltd., the physical manufacturing of PC chassis, including the Apex Air series, takes place at specialized electronics and sheet metal manufacturing facilities in China before international export.
