Cailler Chocolate Bar

Cailler is widely recognized as the oldest surviving brand of Swiss chocolate, originally established in 1819 by François-Louis Cailler in Vevey, Switzerland. In 1898, the historic Maison Cailler factory was opened in Broc in the Gruyère region, where the company pioneered the manufacturing of smooth Swiss milk chocolate using condensed alpine milk.

In 1929, Cailler merged into the Nestlé group, which had long-standing ties with the brand and its milk processing techniques. Today, Cailler operates as a premium heritage confectionery brand under Nestlé S.A., maintaining its signature manufacturing at the Broc chocolate factory using locally sourced Swiss milk and sustainably farmed cocoa.
