BEHR Premium Wax Decorative Finish is designed to seal and protect painted surfaces, adding a smooth decorative sheen.

Founded in 1947 by Otho Behr Jr. in Pasadena, California, Behr Paint Company originally started by selling linseed oil finishes from the back of a station wagon. It grew rapidly through a long-standing exclusive retail partnership with The Home Depot.

In 1999, Behr was acquired by Masco Corporation, an American publicly traded manufacturer of home improvement and building products based in Livonia, Michigan. In Canada, Behr products are distributed by Behr Process Paint (Canada) Co. and sold across Canadian retail locations.
