Plarium Video Games

Plarium is an international video game developer and publisher widely known for popular mobile and browser-based titles, most notably the fantasy RPG RAID: Shadow Legends, as well as strategy titles like Vikings: War of Clans and Mech Arena.

Founded in 2009 in Herzliya, Israel, by Avi and Gabi Shalel alongside co-founders, Plarium initially focused on casual social networking games before expanding into mid-core strategy and role-playing games on mobile and PC platforms. Today, the company operates development studios across Europe and the Middle East, including offices in Israel, Ukraine, and Poland.

In 2017, Plarium was acquired by the Australian gambling machine and digital entertainment company Aristocrat Leisure Limited. In late 2024, Aristocrat announced an agreement to sell Plarium to the Swedish gaming company Modern Times Group (MTG), shifting the ultimate corporate stewardship to Stockholm, Sweden.
