Toffifee was first introduced in West Germany in 1973 by the family-owned confectionery manufacturer August Storck KG. Marketed originally as a quick treat for the whole family, its signature format consists of a roasted hazelnut encased in a caramel cup, layered with creamy hazelnut nougat, and finished with a drop of rich dark chocolate.

Ownership and Production

Toffifee is owned and produced by August Storck KG (known internationally as the Storck Group), headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Storck remains one of the world's largest privately owned confectionery companies, known also for famous brands such as Werther's Original, Merci, Knoppers, and Riesen. The product is manufactured primarily at Storck's production facilities in Germany (such as in Halle, Westphalia) and distributed across the United Kingdom through its UK subsidiary, Storck UK Ltd.
