Karrimor is a well-known British brand specializing in outdoor clothing, footwear, rucksacks, and adventure sports gear. Established in 1946 by Charles and Mary Parsons alongside Grace Davies in Lancashire, England, the company originally gained international acclaim among mountaineers and hillwalkers for its innovative, durable backpacks and outdoor equipment.

In 2004, the brand was acquired by Frasers Group plc (formerly known as Sports Direct International plc). Under Frasers Group, Karrimor expanded into a broader range of accessible outdoor apparel, trail running shoes, and sports accessories sold widely across Europe, including in Hungary through SportsDirect retail outlets and online channels.

While Karrimor maintains British design heritage and brand roots, manufacturing is outsourced globally, predominantly across Asian manufacturing hubs such as China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. In Japan, a distinct and independent licensed branch of Karrimor operates with separate product lines tailored to the Japanese market, but the brand sold in Hungary and throughout Europe belongs entirely to the UK-based Frasers Group.
