Kayland Footwear

Kayland is a renowned outdoor footwear brand originating from Italy, specializing in high-performance mountaineering, backpacking, approach, and hiking footwear. Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Bittante in the Montebelluna footwear district of Treviso, Italy, the brand has earned international respect for its technical engineering, ergonomic designs, and durable construction tailored for challenging alpine environments.

In March 2013, Kayland was acquired by M.G.M. motor & sport service S.r.l. (MGM), an Italian outdoor footwear manufacturing group headquartered in Vedelago (Treviso), Italy, which also owns the Trezeta brand. MGM oversees the development, engineering, and international distribution of Kayland boots.

Kayland products available in Norway and broader European markets are primarily manufactured in specialized facilities across Europe (such as Romania and Italy) and select Asian manufacturing hubs, adhering to rigorous outdoor industry standards.
