Pantene is one of the world's most recognizable hair care brands, widely sold in supermarkets and personal care retail stores across Portugal and internationally.

The brand originated in Switzerland in 1945, developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche, inspired by discoveries surrounding panthenol (pro-vitamin B5). In 1985, the American multinational consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble (P&G) acquired Pantene and expanded it into a global powerhouse.

Pantene products distributed in Europe, including Portugal, are manufactured across multiple P&G production hubs, notably in France, Italy, and Romania.
