Garofalo pasta is produced and packaged exclusively in Gragnano, Campania, Italy, under the European Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) status, guaranteeing authentic regional ingredients and traditional bronze-die extrusion.

Since 2014, the majority stake in Pastificio Lucio Garofalo has been owned by Ebro Foods S.A., a Spanish multinational food processing corporation headquartered in Madrid, Spain, and a global leader in the rice and pasta sectors.
