IKKS Clothing

IKKS is a French premium fashion and lifestyle brand established in 1987 by designer Gérard Le Goff in Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges, France. Originally launched as a rebellious and contemporary childrenswear line under the phonetic placeholder 'IKKS' (intended as 'X'), the label expanded over the decades into women's apparel (IKKS Women), men's fashion (IKKS Men), and junior collections.

Throughout its history, IKKS changed ownership several times. After being acquired by the Zannier Group (later Kidiliz Group) in 2000, it was taken over by private equity firm LBO France in 2014. In 2019, ownership transitioned to a consortium of international financial creditors, led notably by Avenue Capital Group, CarVal Investors, and Marathon Asset Management, operating under the corporate holding IKKS Junior / IKKS Group SAS headquartered in France.

Production of IKKS apparel is distributed globally, primarily across European and Mediterranean basins (such as Portugal, Turkey, Tunisia, and Morocco) as well as Asian manufacturing hubs including China, Vietnam, and India.
