Grycan Ice Cream

Grycan – Lody od pokoleń is one of Poland's most recognizable premium ice cream and confectionery brands. Founded by Zbigniew Grycan and his wife Elżbieta Grycan, the brand draws on artisanal confectionery traditions dating back to family recipes created in pre-war Lwów and later Wrocław. Prior to launching Grycan, Zbigniew Grycan was renowned for building the iconic Zielona Budka ice cream brand, which he eventually sold before starting his eponymous business.

Grycan products, including artisanal ice creams, sorbets, cakes, and retail tubs, are manufactured primarily in Poland at the company's dedicated production facility in Majdan near Warsaw. The brand operates both a widespread network of branded ice cream parlors and cafes across Polish shopping centers and high streets, as well as retail distribution in supermarkets nationwide.

The brand remains entirely family-owned and operated under the corporate entity P.P.H. Lodziarnie Firmowe Zbigniew Grycan i Syn sp. k. headquartered in Poland. It continues to be managed independently by the Grycan family.
