Maoam Joystixx Chewy Candy

Maoam is an iconic German brand of chewy sweets created by Edmund Münster in Düsseldorf in 1930. The name 'Maoam' was created as an acronym for 'Münster Aus Ozen Aach Mürbeteig' or similar slogans, eventually marketed with the famous catchphrase 'Was wollt ihr denn? Maoam!'.

In 1986, German confectionery giant Haribo (Hans Riegel Bonn) acquired the Edmund Münster GmbH & Co. KG company and its Maoam brand. Today, Maoam is manufactured primarily at Haribo's production facilities in Germany (notably in Neuss) as well as other Haribo plants across Europe, retaining its position as one of Europe's favorite chewy candies.
